We recently stopped by a pool in the Santa Rita neighborhood of San Angelo, TX — an area known for its beautiful homes, history, and unique backyard setups. This particular house is even marked as a historical property, and the pool made a perfect setting to film a full-service visit using our 360° GoPro Max chest cam and a GoPro Hero9 for a wide static shot.
The pool usually gets weekly cleanings, but after recent storms, we decided to stop by for an extra visit to take care of dirt buildup on the bottom. While it may not have looked bad at a glance, a lot of fine debris had settled and needed to be brushed through the filtration system to keep the water crystal clear.

We filmed the entire visit in timewarp mode so you can quickly see the step-by-step work that goes into a professional pool cleaning.
What We Did in This Visit:
- Set the GoPro Hero9 on the diving board for a wide shot
- Emptied the skimmer basket
- Rinsed and reinstalled the robot basket
- Restarted the robotic pool cleaner
- Checked the chlorinator — already had two pucks inside
- Pulled chlorine from the pump house and distributed it around the pool
- Brushed the entire pool, targeting fine dirt and debris
- Scooped lightly (there weren’t many leaves today)
- Wrapped up with a gear check and a pole spin (just for fun)
There’s a bit of staining on this pool from prior years, but all visible green debris was removed — either brushed into circulation or skimmed directly. The footage shows how brushing, even without heavy leaf scooping, is essential for clean, healthy water.
Why It Matters:
Storms in West Texas can bring dust, pollen, plumes, and debris that settle at the bottom of pools — even when the surface looks fine. Weekly service helps, but after any weather shift, it’s worth having a technician assess and reset your water balance.
This video shows what a routine but detailed service looks like — not just brushing and going, but checking all systems and delivering visible results.
